Paula Hils, M.A. CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Paula has been a licensed speech-language pathologist for over 20 years. She received her B.A. in Communication Disorders with a minor in psychology from Pennsylvania State University and her Masters of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Indiana University. She has training and experience in assessment and treatment in the areas of Neurological Disorders, Craniofacial Anomalies, Voice Disorders, Fluency Disorders, Language Disorders, Articulation/Phonological Disorders, Dysphagia, and Aural Rehabilitation. Paula has worked in a variety of settings including private practice, public schools, and hospital and with populations such as children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, adults with Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. During the past 12 years she has specialized in area assessing and treating toddlers and preschoolers with developmental delays. In addition to her clinical experience, Paula has experience in clinical management and supervision, including quality assurance programs and in clinical research, which has been published and presented at conventions. She is licensed by the board of North Carolina and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
